To send and receive emails from your own email account, you need to configure an email client on your device. This article describes the configuration to be done.

Incoming server settings (POP)

  • Server hostname: mail.portmoni.org
  • Port: 995
  • Require SSL: Yes, SSL/TLS
  • Authentication: Yes, using your email address and password

Outgoing server settings (SMTP)

  • Server hostname: mail.portmoni.org
  • Port: 587
  • Require SSL: Yes, STARTTLS
  • Require Authentication: Yes, using your email address and password

Setup Email for Android

Email clients, like ‘Email’ in Android, allow you to easily check your emails without Webmail (web-interface). This tutorial will help you to configure your email accounts in ‘Email’ for Android. The process is similar for other email clients.

1. Open Email app.

2. Enter your email address, then tap Next

3. Choose Personal (POP3) as Account Type.

4. Enter your email account password, then tap Next

5. In the Incoming server settings page, fill out the following details:

  • Server: mail.portmoni.org
  • Port: 993
  • Security type: SSL/TLS

Once all the fields are filled, tap Next

6. In the Outgoing server settings page, fill out the following details:

  • SMTP server: mail.portmoni.org
  • Port: 587
  • Security type: STARTTLS
  • Require sign-in: checked

Once all the fields are filled, tap Next

7. Select the desired options and tap Next.

8. Enter a name for your account and tap Next.

9. That’s it! Your account is now set up.
